Together with colleagues from University Clinic Frankfurt (Patrick Paulus, MD) we have been organizers of the 3rd ISMST Basic Research Meeting. This year’s meeting brought numerous new aspects of shock wave science together. We ourselves and the participants were impressed by the high scientific level that research groups around the world meanwhile are working on in shock wave science.A special pleasure was to have distinguished keynote speakers Stefanie Dimmeler and Andreas Zeiher, who both are leading basic and clinical researchers in the cardio field. It was a pleasure to get an insight into their amazing studies.
Besides abstract presentations our group gave two keynote lectures:
